Assertiveness for Women: How to build your confidence in the workplace
"Jo very much made me feel at ease from the outset, which made it feel a very safe environment which allowed me to get the most out of the course."
Department of Education
Women are gradually working their way into key roles across many sectors, but one of the main barriers to success for women is their own view of their skills and their lack of confidence. This is sometimes referred to as ‘the imposter Syndrome’. A lack of confidence can be accentuated by a feeling that they are not being heard at work (or seen), and that others are getting the limelight and taking the credit.
This course is for women who want to feel more confident and more assertive (not aggressive) in the workplace, and to make sure that they can get their voices heard around the table.
'Assertiveness for Women: How to build your confidence in the workplace' is from Professional Development Skills series. At the Civil Service College, we tailor our courses to each attendee’s role and organisations, ensuring that each delegate gets the most out of the training. Our courses and trainers are continuously updated and evaluated to ensure that we are always delivering the best service possible.
