Executive Presence Training: Style, Substance & Character

Some people possess a seemingly innate quality that makes others gravitate towards them, to instantly inspire trust and confidence and generally be liked straight away. But what exactly is it that gives them this stand-out presence?
According to the three dimensions of executive presence, one needs to have style, substance and character in order to command presence. These refer to the first impressions you make, your genuineness and your charisma.
Featured in our Leadership & Management series, the Executive Presence: Style, Substance and Character course will look at the importance of building a presence as well as identifying the skills needed to create your own personal “wow” factor. At the Civil Service College, we tailor our courses to each attendee’s role and organisations, ensuring that each delegate gets the most out of the training. Our courses and trainers are continuously updated and evaluated to ensure that we are always delivering the best service possible.
This course is suitable for Senior Executives or anyone who aspires to be a Senior Executive.
Delegates will develop a personal action plan which will help them develop their own executive presence further, as well as gaining confidence with their own style, substance and character.
Go above and beyond your training with new collaborative resources from our partnership with Kogan Page, an award-winning independent publisher of business books and content. "The course was particularly good as the trainer didn't rely on slides. The small size of the course was also a good idea and meant we were able to go into a lot of detail."
Department of Education
"The trainer was very knowledgeable and friendly, he certainly helped make the course. The small group size was also ideal to allow for the exchange of ideas without overshadowing individual requirments. I have already recommended the course to other colleagues"
