Qualities and behaviours of a digital leader in the 21st century, such as innovation mindset and rapid adaptability, are fundamental regardless of the sector. In this digital leadership course, we will examine the impact of emerging technologies like AI, robotics and data analytics. We will understand how to manage successful digital transformations and how to create digital workplace cultures.

Read BioTom is a global consultant, advisor and coach to the private and public sectors on Leadership Development, Digital & Workplace Transformation and Successful Change. He has a Master’s in HR with a career that started in Accenture driving global business transformation for large corporates such as Barclays Bank, British Gas and 20th Century Fox. He was Global Head of Learning & Development for Colt Technology Services and held the post of Senior Advisor within the Cabinet Office, British Government, focusing on Digital & Technology Skills across government. While in government, he also assisted with the creation of Digital Academies, starting in the DWP and replicated around the country, and contributed to initiatives around leadership development and apprenticeship programmes.
In 2015 he founded, TFB Consulting Ltd., that focuses on digital, culture and workplace transformation. Tom’s diverse portfolio finds him advising governments for countries such as the UK, India, Malaysia, UAE and States of Jersey, as well as corporate clients such as KPMG, GSK, Legal & General and Royal Mail.
Tom has additional certifications and training in Agile project management, ITIL and PRINCE2, as well as Communications, Media and Video Production. He is an active writer, educator, video producer and conference speaker, having appeared numerous times on the BBC and producing TV programmes and corporate videos. Originally from the US, he has lived and worked across four continents.
