This session explores what a healthy, non-discriminatory workplace looks like and how to build a culture where people feel respected, included and psychologically safe. It is designed to help people professionals and leaders spot issues early, respond effectively, and create stronger, fairer teams.

Ian Rose is an inspirational speaker, business leader, and double Paralympic medallist who helps individuals and organisations unlock their potential through resilience, inclusion, and personal growth. Born with retinoblastoma, a rare eye cancer, Ian lost one eye and much of the sight in the other at an early age. Despite facing significant challenges and discrimination during his childhood, he developed the confidence and determination that would lead him to compete at the highest level of international sport, representing Great Britain at five Paralympic Games and winning two Paralympic medals.

Drawing on his experiences in sport, business, and life, Ian delivers engaging and practical sessions that combine humour, honesty, and powerful storytelling. His approach encourages audiences to build confidence, embrace differences, foster psychological safety, and create inclusive environments where everyone can thrive. Participants leave with actionable insights that help them be more, achieve more, and support others to do the same.
