Strategic thinking is an essential core skill for Senior Executives, as establishing a culture of innovation and developing positive future outcomes requires those overseeing or accountable to projects to think strategically and anticipate change.

This course is designed to offer delegates the chance to explore the concept of strategic thinking and practise using the different tools that would enable them to think tactically in the face of various possible futures.

Noah Curthoys

Noah possesses extensive and impressive experience in developing and restructuring organisational strategy. As the founder and Director of Bridgenor Associates, his skills include market analysis, scenario planning and horizon scanning; all services that he has provided for Central Government departments, NGOs and institutional investors.


Noah began his career in the Civil Service as a speechwriter for HM Treasury. He then took on the roles of Chief of Staff and Policy Advisor while on secondment at the Cabinet Office. Later, he took on the position of Director of Strategy at the office of Fair Trading where he advised the CEO, Chairman and Board Executives on strategic and governmental matters.


He also redesigned the department’s strategic function; shifting the focus to horizon scanning, corporate prioritisation and Board-level support.


As well as time spent working in the private sector, including a Vice President position at Morgan Stanley, Noah has also held senior and Board positions in NHS organisations, including Chief of Corporate Affairs for NHS Coastal West Sussex CCG and Board Member for NHS Tower Hamlets CCG, which he still holds today.
