Understanding the UK Legal System

The UK legal system can be complicated and confusing even for people who work as part of it.  This programme provides an overview of the legal bodies and mechanisms that provide the constitutional and administrative fabric of government in the United Kingdom, including Parliament, central government, local government, the devolved institutions and the judiciary.  The programme also aims to decode and explain key legal terms and concepts, and to provide other key legal comprehension skills for anyone working in the civil service or elsewhere in the public sector.
