NewContract Management of Development Projects

Dates:

  • 06 - 10 September 2027

Workshop Overview

Effective procurement and contract management are essential to delivering development projects on time, within budget and to the required standards. This five-day workshop follows the contracting cycle from procurement planning and supplier selection through contract award, mobilisation, performance management, change control and close-out. It places particular emphasis on governance, accountability, donor requirements and the practical management of contractual risk.

Delegates will examine how to align procurement and contracting processes with international best practice, establish appropriate management structures and controls, monitor contractor performance, manage variations and disputes, and maintain clear documentation for audit and decision-making.
