Corporal Yvonne Asamoah-Tawiah shares her story of inequality during childbirth and the days, weeks and months that led to the anxious wait for the fate of her son.

Yvonne Asamoah-Tawiah, known professionally as Minister Yvonne, is a supremely talented UK-based Ghanaian Gospel musician, songwriter, vocalist, and worship leader, who is rocking our gospel screens in several homes and churches around the work with spirit-engulfed gospel songs. She has been nominated and won several awards both locally and internationally.  In 2013, Yvonne joined the British Army as a Logistics specialist.  After 2 years he re-traded to the Adjutant Generals Corps as an HR specialist and is currently serving at 101 Logistics Brigade. Based on her resilience and aptitude to work, as well as charity, Cpl Asamoah-Tawiah has received the Brigadier’s coin.
