Mental and emotional health is an area that has had increased attention in the last 20 years widening our understanding but more importantly humanising our felt experiences. Despite this increase in our understanding mental and emotional health concerns can still be a taboo subject especially in the workplace where employees may have anxieties about performance and outcomes.
This course is an introduction to mental health and emotional wellbeing. It is aimed is to help you to have some techniques to improve your own mental and emotional health as well as support you in developing a better work-life balance.

In the last 5 years, Joanne has worked increasingly with couples or individuals experiencing difficulties in their relationships or with their sexuality. Joanne mainly works from an Integrative framework using elements of Systemic, Family, Psychodynamic and Humanistic approaches.
Joanne has experience of working with children, adults and families with anxiety, low mood, behavioural problems and learning disabilities. Joanne also teaches and lectures in various child and family related subjects
