We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated individual to join our diverse London-based team.

 

The role of the Learning Coordinator is to support the delivery of our learning events from webinars to training programmes for UK and international delegates. You will support the team by assisting with enquiries and leads. This includes, but not limited to, following up with booking administration tasks to helping someone to log into a virtual training room.

 

You will support our team of training associates in their delivery of engaging, high-quality training programmes across all twenty-three UK central government departments, to over three hundred arm's length bodies, to local authorities and to the devolved governments of the UK. You will also support the coordination of training programmes for senior officials from overseas countries. We have delivered training to smaller countries such as Mauritius to those as large as India.

 

Civil Service College offers innovative training courses across subjects, from accountability and governance to leadership training, finance management, project management and personal development.

 

As part of a small team, you will work closely with internal colleagues to ensure our learning events meet customers' training requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Be the point of contact for general enquiries and any troubleshooting concerns related to learning events or technology platforms.
  • Maintaining the training schedule, this includes creating, updating and cancelling training courses on the CSC website and booking platform.
  • Provide end-to-end support for courses by coordinating training venue, trainers, technology platforms, training materials, budget, surveys, attendance, and post-training activities.
  • Ensure appropriate communications, such as joining instructions, are sent to customers, trainers and other stakeholders promptly;
  • Ensure the appropriate purchase orders are in place for all events.
  • Gather feedback from trainers and participants before and after each training session.
  • Maintain an accurate record of course delivery and support the production of monthly training reports.
  • Support the sales process by following up on leads.
  • Maintaining updated knowledge of training programmes and services.
  • Develop knowledge and skills by participating in professional development opportunities.
  • Support Account Managers on administrative duties when needed
  • Occasional travel to external venues to ensure and monitor the successful delivery of training events.

  • Ability to adapt to changes and work in ambiguity

 

Previous coordination or administration experience in a fast-paced environment is desirable.

 

The role will be based in London.

Contract: Permanent Full-time

Salary: £21,000-£25,000 per annum
