Bespoke Team Away Days

Is your team working optimally together? How well does it respond and adapt to changing conditions? How strong is the sense of team cohesion? How well do its members communicate? And how well are they managing difference and conflict?

We can help teams to understand themselves and the world in which they operate, so that they can respond in stronger and more creative ways. Though each package will be bespoke to the needs of the team, typically a facilitator will first undertake a diagnostic stage by holding confidential discussions with each team member to fully understand all perspectives, before designing the event.

The exact design of team events will there vary, and will be agreed with the team themselves in advance, but they might include opportunities to:

  • Understand and celebrate the diversity of individual approach and personality in the team;
  • Consider the team’s core values and how these can drive the way it operates;
  • Share findings from the diagnostic stage with the whole team;
  • Explore the environment in which the team operates and how best to respond to or anticipate change;
  • Enable important messages to be shared and listened to in a safe and appreciative atmosphere;
  • Plan next steps and think about how to overcome barriers.

Facilitators will draw on their extensive experience of both leading and working with leaders and teams, also taking inspiration from Organisation Development, NLP and many other disciplines.
