Civil Service College recognised by ILM for senior executive training

LONDON, 19 JAN 2017 – Civil Service College has been recognised by the ILM as provider for two professional training courses for senior executives.


Capacity Building for Senior Leadership and Organisational Storytelling, focussed on increasing executives’ efficiency and international communications respectively, were awarded the benchmark recognition.

To gain ILM’s recognition, Civil Service College had to demonstrate that their programmes include an assessed component that links to the learning outcomes, that there is flexibility in the programme design and delivery, and are aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skills of the participants.


Organisational Storytelling helps executives establish a compelling common purpose for their team, and put it into practice, whereas Capacity Building for Senior Leadership drives executives to strategise the support processes of government and governance, drawing on the latest thinking and best practice. All registered learners (additional fee involved) are eligible for free studying membership of the ILM for 12 months.
