New Year, New Start - Health
Change is never easy. Just the idea of leaving old habits, unhealthy life choices, and people behind can be enough to make us feel uneasy, anxious and uncomfortable. There’s this overwhelming sense of uncertainty that makes us feel afraid of finally making that scary change and starting a fresh! If you are thinking of making a change in your personal or professional life in 2021 and you’re looking for motivation, we have your back! The Civil Service College and expert trainer, Sophie Bryan, will be sharing with you some of the most motivating and inspiring webinar topics in a three part series over January, February and March 2021.
...Here’s to new beginnings!
In this 1st of a 3 part series, this webinar will explore some of the healthy ways we can energise and support our bodies through nutrition, thinking of food as not just something to enjoy (or socialise over - pre- covid), but also to fuel our bodies and minds. We will also explore exercise and how we can create simple routines to ensure we keep our bodies and minds fit. And lastly, we will explore the importance of relaxation, and sleep, and will talk through some key ways in which you can make relaxation an essential part of your day. The webinar will finish with an invitation to join in a short mindfulness meditation to complete the session.
