The growth of social media has been phenomenal. Billions of people now use it, to talk to their friends, promote their business, spread their message, or just share their thoughts.
The number of platforms and their strengths and weaknesses has become one of the impenetrable techno-jungles of modern life.
Former BBC News Correspondent Simon Hall, who used social media in his work, and has trained prominent public figures in how to present themselves on a range of internet platforms, gives you insights, tips and tricks for dealing with social media.
We cut through the overgrowth and shine a light on exactly what the various platforms do, and how to use them to achieve your aims.
Anyone who wants a deeper understanding of social media and the ability to use it more effectively, ranging from those with very limited experience to those who use social media daily.
