A Guide to Financial Modelling & Aqua Book
Using analysis in decision making is key, which is echoed in the Treasury’s Aqua Book. Financial modelling is a regularly used technique of analysis. However, there are many examples of government projects where mistakes have been made in preparing financial models or understanding their results.
This training will enlighten participants on how best practice is set out in the Aqua Book and will demonstrate how common drawbacks in using financial modelling can be deterred. This online course will look at issues of dealing with uncertainty which is a feature of economic downturn we are now facing.
