Those in Public Management roles must be able to strike a balance between creating public value and managing the bottom line, and sound financial management is critical to the long-term health of any public body.

Those in Senior Management and leadership positions need to be able to read financial reports accurately, ask the right questions of their financial officers and make strategic management decisions based on a solid understanding of the general business principles that apply to all public bodies.

At the Civil Service College, we tailor our courses to each attendee’s role and organisation, ensuring that each participant gets the most out of the training. Our courses and trainers are continuously updated and evaluated to ensure that we are always delivering the best service possible.
